Nature's miniature worlds.

Sealed, self-sustaining terrariums that water themselves, and everlasting faux terrariums for the dark corners, offices and patios where real plants won't grow. Each one is built by hand, layer by layer.

Two ways to bring a world home

Living or everlasting?

Pick by the spot you have in mind. A sealed jar needs gentle daylight. A faux jar is happy anywhere, rain or shine.

Inside a sealed jar

A tiny world that waters itself

Close the lid and the jar becomes its own small weather system. This loop is why a sealed terrarium can go without care for so long.

  1. Light

Soft daylight through the glass powers the moss and plants inside.

  2. Breathe

Leaves release moisture into the air trapped in the jar.

  3. Condense

The moisture beads on the cooler glass, the fog you see in the morning.

  4. Rain

Droplets run back down into the soil, and the cycle starts again.

After dark

Lantern jars that glow on the porch.

Our faux lantern terrariums have fairy lights built into the lid. Hang one from a patio umbrella, set it on a shelf, or give it as a night light that never needs watering.

Made with faux greenery and stone, they handle the outdoors, low-light rooms and anywhere a living plant would struggle.

Our story

Small jars, built by hand.

Rooted Realm Botanical Co. started in 2026 with a simple idea: everyone deserves a little piece of nature, even without a green thumb or a sunny window.

Each terrarium is layered by hand with drainage stone, soil, moss and hand-picked plants, or with faux greenery built to last. No two are exactly alike.
